# 2026-10-12 — Image inputs without a content type (fix · API)

> Image editing accepts input URLs that omit the Content-Type header.

Image editing through Google, DeepInfra, and Cloudflare AI now detects the
image format when an input URL omits its `Content-Type` header. You can use
these URLs without adding the header to your image server.
