# 2026-07-05 — Balance and cost estimates in the CLI (feature · CLI · cli 0.0.17)

`mynth balance` prints your account balance. Generation commands can estimate the flat, published cost of a request before it runs. The CLI also exits with a distinct code per failure kind, so scripts and agents can branch on what went wrong.
